OBITUARY: Kenneth L. Niebauer 88, formerly of Moscow Kenneth L. Niebauer - Moscow-Pullman Daily News - (Jul/13/2010)   Posted on: Tuesday, July 13, 2010 Kenneth L. Niebauer , of Bellevue, peacefully passed away at home on July 7, 2010, at the age of 88. Ken was born in Mellen, Wis., to William and Pearl Niebauer . He served in the army during WWII as a weatherman in Alaska. He moved to Moscow to pursue a degree in engineering. He married Mildred Eide of Moscow on July 28, 1946. Ken received his engineering degree from the University of Idaho in 1948. From there they moved to Pittsburgh where he worked for Westinghouse and earned his master's degree from University of Pittsburgh. They later moved to the Seattle area, where he worked for the Boeing company for 30 years. He was very involved at Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing and sports.
