Francis Marion Loper: Wednesday, November-6-1929 The Morning Call (Laurel Mississippi). Death Call Aged Farmer Tuesday A.M. F.M. Loper Passes Away After Extended Illness. After an illness extending over a period of several months, F.M. Loper, aged 72 years, died at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the South Mississippi Hospital of senility and a complication of dieseases. His condition has been serious for several days and a member of his children were at the institution at the time of his demise. The deceased was a resident of the Strengthford community where he had made his home for many years. He was one of the best known and oldest residents there. He was a memer of the Baptist church and had been an officer of the board for years, giving up this responsibility owning to advanced age.
