VIRGIL L. FISHER May 9, 1924 - Nov. 22, 2004 Thursday, November 25, 2004 SOUTH BEND -- Virgil Lee Fisher, 80, of West Bulla Avenue, died at 11 p.m. Monday (Nov. 22, 2004) at home. He was born May 9, 1924, in Terre Haute, to Herman and Helen (Wilson) Fisher. On Sept. 22, 1946, in Danville, Ill., he married Marjorie Critchlow. She died in 1993 after 46 years of marriage. He is survived by two daughters, Dolores (Charles) Niebauer of Middlebury and Lynn (Steve) Wysong of South Bend; a son, Roger Fisher of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Bracken of Terre Haute and Betty Patterson of Washington, Ill.; and a brother, Albert Fisher of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by a grandson. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.
