Dewey J. Beachy, 60, of Goshen, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at his residence after a battle with emphysema.. He was born on Nov. 29, 1950 in Goshen, to Joas “Yup” and Marie (Troyer) Beachy. On April 30, 1972 in Goshen he married Joan  Livengood, she survives.. Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Troy (Erica) Beachy and two grandchildren, Graecin and Kierstin all of Bristol; his mother Marie (Troyer) Beachy of Sarasota, Fl, two sisters, Naomi (Joseph) Lenoci of Streamwood, Ill., Lois (Daniel) Stimax of Rock Hill, S.C.; four brothers, Leonard (Michelle) Beachy of West Chester, Pa., Glenn (Martha) Beachy of Kanehoe, Oahu, Hawaii, Nelson Eugene Beachy of Osawatomie, Kan., Willard (Donna) Beachy of Middlebury; 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Mary Louise Jennings.. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era and he had worked at AM General in Mishawaka for 37 years. He loved being outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the 6:30 p.m. memorial service Monday, Nov. 21, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Military Honors will be presented by the Middlebury American Legion Post 210 at the close of the service. Services will be conducted by Pastor Karen Strietelmeier.. MIDDLEBURY — Lillian Sue Howell, 69, of Middlebury, died at 11:02 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1949, in Johnson County, Kentucky, to Reuben and Barbara (Blair) Webb. On March 8, 1969, in Floyd County, Kentucky, she married Billy Howell; he survives.
