Sylvia Agnes Blocher

Sylvia Agnes Blocher, 76, 1445 Strong St, Elkhart, died Sunday in the Turtle Creek Nursing Home, Elkhart, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. A native of Wakarusa, Mrs Blocher was born Oct. 19, 1894, and was married to Arthur Blocher in 1916. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Arthur C Jr, Ernest and Howard, all of Elkhart; three daughters, Mrs George (Florence) Fadenrecht, Ellensburg, Wash, Mrs Dale (Vera) Moser, Chula Vista, Calif, and Mrs Wayne (Ruth) Emerson, Elkhart; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Elmer and Irvin Canen, both of Modesto, Calif, John Canen, Elkhart, and Arthur Paulus, Wakarusa; and three sisters, Mrs Merlie Lechlitner, Wakarusa, Mrs Dorothy Null, Goshen, and Mrs Katheryn Cook, Modesto, Calif. Services were held today at the Beulah Missionary Church in Elkhart with the Rev D Paul Hartman officiating. Burial was in Olive Cemetery.

Iola Bareilles Niebauer

Iola Bareilles Niebauer She was born in Gustine, California, raised in Palo Alto, died suddenly after a brief illness at age 89. Iola lived and worked in San Francisco and, in 1953, moved to Marin County with her husband. She was preceded in death by her late husband, John J. Niebauer . She is survived by her loving step-son, John J. Niebauer , MD and his wife, Jean, four step- grandchildren, Skip, Peter and Doug Niebauer and Patricia Hendrickson and five step-great grandchildren. Mass will be on Friday, October 4th, at 10:00 AM at St. Patricks Church, 114 King Street, Larkspur. Friends and family are invited. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, San Rafael, CA. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to the American Cancer Society. WILLIAM HENRY KLUG. Extensive and impor- tant operations in real estate have brought William H. Klug to a prominent position among the successful business men of Detroit. For over a quarter of a century he has been connected with this line of activ- ity and he has so directed his efforts as to develop and improve the city as well as to promote his in- dividual prosperity. He is of European extraction and was born August 24, 1870, a son of Henry and Dorothy (Niebauer) Klug, who brought their three sons to the United States in 1870 in order that they might escape the military oppression of their native land and enjoy the blessings and privileges of a free country. The family' at once came to Michigan and located near Detroit. The father had been ac- tively engaged in business in the country of his birth, but he was not long permitted to enjoy his new home, as he passed away two weeks after the arrival of the family in Michigan. Michael Peter Niebauer

Michael Peter Niebauer "Richmond - Michael Peter Niebauer, 82, of 3785 church road, died Saturday night in his home where he had lived all his life. He was born Feb. 5, 1876 the son of the late Peter and Teresa Niebauer. He and Miss Louise Porea were married Sept. 21, 1909. Mr. Niebauer is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Schneider, St. Clair; three sons, Louis Niebauer and Stanley Niebauer, both of St. Clair and Raymond Niebauer, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Fitzgerald, Mrs. Mary Ottembacher, Miss. Elizabeth Niebauer and Mrs. Teresa Winkel, all of Richmond and 14 grandchildren. The remains are in Memorial Chapel funeral home, St. Clair, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Monday. Services will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. Augustine Catholic church, Richmond, with Rev. Charles Wettstein, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery."

Francis Marion Loper: Wednesday, November-6-1929 The Morning Call (Laurel Mississippi). Death Call Aged Farmer Tuesday A.M. F.M. Loper Passes Away After Extended Illness. After an illness extending over a period of several months, F.M. Loper, aged 72 years, died at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the South Mississippi Hospital of senility and a complication of dieseases. His condition has been serious for several days and a member of his children were at the institution at the time of his demise. The deceased was a resident of the Strengthford community where he had made his home for many years. He was one of the best known and oldest residents there. He was a memer of the Baptist church and had been an officer of the board for years, giving up this responsibility owning to advanced age. Daniel Longfield

Mrs Daniel Longfield, 63, who had been in failing health for sometime and quite ill the past two months, died suddenly at five o'clock Friday morning, following a heart attack in their home at Oak Grove. When Mr Longfield returned from the barn he found Mrs Longfield lying on the floor in the bed room. He picked her up and placed her on the bed where she passed away a few minutes after. Her maiden name was Nettie May Smeltzer, eldest daughter in a family of six children born to Michael and Mary Smeltzer. She was born near here June 19, 1878. She was united in marriage to Daniel Longfield in March 5, 1898 and has lived all her married life in the home where she passed away. One son, James, was born to this union. He resides in Nappanee. Surviving besides the husband and son, are a granddaughter, Verda, one brother, Lloyd Smeltzer of Bryant, Ind, three sisters, Mrs Beulah Myers of Sidney, Mrs Ben Fisher of southwest of town and Mrs Glover Jackson, north of town.
